      Asian Americans in Energy, the Environment, and Commerce (AE2C) is hosting a special briefing with leaders from the U.S. Department of Energy on the Clean Energy Corps hiring campaign, a crucial effort to recruit the hundreds of DOE staff necessary to implement the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. This briefing, led by the Honorable Shalanda Baker, Director of DOE’s Office of Economic Impact and Diversity and Secretarial Advisor on Equity; and Jeremiah Baumann, DOE’s Infrastructure Coordinator, will highlight key milestones and ongoing vacancies. They will outline core DOE hiring priorities for experts in:

  • Manufacturing and supply chain
  • Stakeholder and external engagement
  • Technology experts, e.g., transmission, hydrogen, carbon capture, batteries and more
  • Deployment and management of clean energy resources
